A couple of years ago I met Paulette online while looking for property for a relative. I was beyond impressed with her honesty (yes, an honest real estate agent!), ethics, knowledge, professionalism, and humor. Our relative was very impressed with her as she helped him buy a second home, so we contracted her to help sell our home. But we listed just as interest rates started rising and people were very hesitant to make the commitment to buy a home. She worked tirelessly with us, helping to stage our home, having multiple open houses, cold calling, following up on leads, and spending a lot of time with us and encouraging us. And we actually have become very close friends with her. Homes just were not selling, no matter what real estate agents were doing, so we took our house off the market for one year. We kept in touch with Paulette throughout the year; a month before we wanted to put the house back on the market, we contacted Paulette and she jumped into gear! She had us doing a lot of 'paperwork' prep work in advance so that the day she listed our home, most of the inspections and paperwork would be finalized and buyers would not need to wait on us for anything. The day our house listed she received multiple offers. She then really dug in for us - verifying loans, etc - before she presented us with a full spreadsheet of the offers. Let's be open & honest here - before meeting Paulette, we had a few real estate agents come to our home to give us estimates & sales pitches. One was very 'slick', giving us too-good-to-be-true promises; to another we were just another 'sale'. But not with Paulette. We not only felt but knew that she truly cared about helping sell our home, respecting us, our wishes, our neighborhood, & all potential buyers.
