What can one say about the dedication of someone who works with you for almost two decades? Someone who is invested in your future? Someone who really cares and treats you like family? A lot has changed for us since we first attempted to enter the market and purchase our first home 17 years ago. The one consistent part of the process was Arlene, who was there at every turn, set back, and final success. From the beginning Arlene was an immense help to two young-ish kids who didn't know very much. Any question we had she was able to answer in a way that was easy to understand. Even more helpful was her ability to bring to our attention questions we did not even know to ask. Her experience really shone through in each and every step of the process. Not only purchasing a home, but all things to do with loans, the housing market, and all related matters, a real expert in her field. Over the years we had several attempts to purchase a home and Arlene worked tirelessly each and every time. She was a very effective negotiator and did everything she could to make things work out for us. We really leaned on her experience to know just how much we could ask for or expect when making an offer. I am still amazed that she never gave up on us as we were often overly cautious in our decision making and looking back we missed on a few opportunities. To her credit, Arlene was very candid about this, she was open and honest with us on all things. It was such a great benefit to work with someone with whom you could speak openly. It is a cliche in business to talk about a customer being like family, but that is the best way I can sum up our experience. We were treated like family. Our needs, our concerns, and our values all mattered just as much to Arlene as they did to us. This was from the very first house we attempted to purchase it has seemingly always been this way. We would not be in our home today if not for Arlene.
