Paul is highly skilled in his profession. His knowledge abounds. He is very detailed oriented and therefore pays attention to those things that are important to his clients but overlooked by many. He is thoughtful, personable and of high character and integrity. I cannot say enough about our experience in working with Paul. We will definitely call upon him again in the purchase of our next home!

Paul is an excellent Real Estate Agent. He was very knowledgeable about the overall area and also very knowledgeable about all the neighborhoods he took us through. We spent 2-3 full days with Paul, visiting various listings and new housing developments from Parish and as far south as Venice. He has a wonderful personality and we had a great time looking at all the properties. Once we made our choice, he took care of everything. He recommended a lawyer since we were coming from out of state and knew no one here. He even checked on the building progress for us several times before the completion of the condo. He make the overall experience a breeze. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone I knew who was in need of a Real Estate Agent.

Our home purchase experience with Michael Saunders & Company was positive on all fronts, particularly our agent, Paul Oakes.   We would recommend him to any buyer or seller for their real estate transaction. Well before our first house hunting trip to Lakewood Ranch, he called us in Indiana to get acquainted and to understand our goals. He remained in contact prior to our house hunting trip to coordinate details and to continue to hone our house hunt list.  Based on his prep work, our first meeting with Paul was like reacquainting with an old friend.  He was very warm and engaging and immediately put both of us at ease.  We had only planned a single day and half to find a home. Paul’s knowledge of the market combined with our goals made for a very productive day. Our day was planned and mapped out, complete with printouts.  We were encouraged to keep our "running top three", funneling us toward an eventual selection, but without pressuring us.  Paul combined a good balance of pointing out key aspects of homes, his observations and insights, but he also knew when to stand back and allow us to form our own opinions.  We were especially pleased with Paul’s involvement after the contract had been signed, leading up to the closing. He attended the inspection in our absence, diligently following up on the short list of “fixes” we requested. We also truly appreciate Paul going the extra mile to answer questions and seek information on our behalf as well as his willingness to be available at all hours, during the week as well as weekends.  In summary, Paul Oakes, is a consummate real estate professional who worked hard on our behalf, is a pleasure to work with, and whom we now regard as a neighbor and friend.

Paul was great to work with. He showed us NUMEROUS homes even taking us back to some several times. He went above and beyond "the call of duty" to show us homes during the holidays.
