My fiancée and I were seeking a home during one of the hottest moments of the real estate market here in Wilmington in 2022. Patrick came recommended from a co-worker who would not stop raving about him, so we gave him a shot. Having Patrick as a real estate agent was less like a business arrangement, and a lot more like having a best friend who also just happens to know everything real estate. Not just the market, the numbers, financing, trends, neighborhoods, connections, but down to the actual nuts and bolts of what matters in your home. We don’t even want to imagine where we would’ve landed if we didn’t have someone like Patrick by our side from start to finish. From getting down on all fours into a crawl space for us (at almost a dozen properties), to estimating potential projects and revising our contracts over and over again late on a weekend as we changed our minds back and forth, Patrick never lost an ounce of patience with us. We weren’t in a rush to close on a property, and Patrick respected that, and never made us feel like we had to rush a decision. We felt that Patrick always had our best interest as his main priority (in contrast to other agents we have had in the past). Even on the several occasions we urgently asked him to meet us at newly listed property, Patrick beat us there to the listing (and always had a big smile on). We really can’t say enough good things, and we are looking forward to being life long friends now that we’ve closed and moved in. Truly mean it when we say that he is one in a million! He will also give you advice that best suites your needs and is not only extremely attentive but, also very professional in his work. I don't often write reviews, but Patrick Angle has inspired me to write this well-deserved one! I needed someone who could show me houses that fit my wish list and he delivered right from the first showing. I was nervous about that, since I knew I needed to see other options. Patrick showed me so many other places and answered my two sisters' questions as they accompanied me for their critical eyes. Patrick knows Wilmington like the back of his hand and he shared that knowledge throughout the process. I knew I would need someone who could work with me remotely as I currently reside in Key West. Even as I am not so tech-savvy, Patrick managed to get all of the necessary paperwork prepared and my signatures where they needed to be. All with grace and patience. After the purchase was settled, Patrick helped with making sure some modifications were being handled. He even went to the house to catch three big boxes I UPSed to get them inside for me! Honestly, I've made my first friend in Wilmington! I'll be hitting him up for recommendations soon, once I get back up there to plant some roots! Job VERY well done!
Patrick’s knowledge and expertise in real estate made buying our forever home very easy. He makes you feel comfortable, quickly learns your wants and needs and has great follow through. It was a joy to work with him. He thought of things that we did not especially during our initial inspection of our new home. He checked and the doors, windows cabinets, plumbing for inside leaks and lots of other little details that helped us identify the little things before closing. We met Patrick at a time when inventory was low and a competitive market was driving offers up well beyond listing prices. Patrick not only found us a great home, but he was able to help negotiate a sale for the list price with the sellers paying part of the closing! He went above and beyond to allay our fears regarding potential structural issues and inspected the roof and attic himself, and advised us that water damage was the result of a previous leak that was no longer active. He is an outstanding person and was a pure pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Patrick to any potential buyer!

In my estimation, Patrick went above and beyond what one would expect in a Realtor. Knowledge and professionalism should be a given when selling a property. However, it was his compassion and caring of me as an individual and what I was also going through at the time that made the whole process less daunting than it would have been for me otherwise.
