I knew Pat for more than ten years, so when it was time to select an agent it was an easy choice. First, Pat is a superb and prompt communicator. He kept me informed at every stage of the process and did a marvelous job of explaining each step to me and why it was necessary. He was also particularly good at listening to my concerns and expectations. Perhaps most importantly, he knew how to tactfully offer advice and suggestions without imposing or pressuring. That is a rare skill that I came to admire and appreciate. Second, Pat's experience in the business made things much easier for me. He knows a number of people, from decorators to cleaning services to on-line professionals, whose skills are increasingly necessary to successfully marketing houses. Like a good reliable agent, he kept abreast of how others were fulfilling their responsibilities. For example, he made sure to regularly inspect any necessary repairs that were made and to meet with the individuals doing the work to find out exactly what was being done and why and how well. I came increasingly to trust Pat and to delegate to him as much as possible. My confidence was rewarded when the restrictions surrounding the Corona Virus were imposed and threatened to delay the scheduled closing date. Pat was instrumental in seeing that everything was completed as required and on time saving me from a lot of worry. Since I had already moved across the country, I relied on Pat look out for my interests, a confidence that was amply rewarded and then some. Selling a house can be a stressful time. I was fortunate to have a nice, talented, and professional person like Pat to look out for my interests.
