Page was the only realtor we contacted based upon a family member’s experience. She quickly reviewed the information on our house and recommended a price that we thought was better than we might get. She offered many useful suggestions for showing the house. Once the house was listed, we had a number of prospective buyers and several offers at the listing price within a few days. Page worked closely with us in completing the sale. Throughout, Page was available to answer any questions we had and handled everything professionally.

The Henrys had our home on the market for 16 months. Over the 16-month process, we had very few lookers and no offers. Whenever I would ask why we had so few lookers, I would get (and I'm serious) gobbledygook responses related to economic indicators. This was all while interest rates were/are low and the stock market was on the move toward record levels.<br/><br/>Worse yet, Carl Henry lied to me. The lie is taped because he made the mistake of recording it on my voice mail. <br/><br/>After taking the home off the market and re-listing it with a different agent, believe it or not, the house sold within ten days. We had multiple offers and the house sold for more than the listing price.<br/><br/>Of course, part of the poor performance of the Henrys was our fault. Not being a savvy seller (we were in the home for 25 years), I made the wrong assumption that people would look at the house and make offers. That did not happen.<br/><br/>Moral of the story: Choose your agent very carefully.
