I contacted Kashif in February 2021 to buy our first home in what was a very competitive market. Kashif explained the market conditions and kept our expectations in check. My wife and I would search through listings and send Kashif the ones we liked. He quickly setup appointments to see the homes as homes were usually off the market in a week. We discussed how we would structure our offer for each of the properties. We ultimately expanded our search area due to market availability. We found our home in a Manassas neighborhood which Kashif had worked in before. He was able to help us set a realistic offer price and we were able to keep the final sales price reasonably close. Kashif was helpful from the beginning by quickly setting up appointments to go look at properties as soon as a time was available which was key as homes only stayed on the market for a week. For all the properties we liked, we discussed how we would frame the offer and the concessions we would have to make. Ultimately, due to the limited market availability, we decided to expand our search area. This allowed us to find the property we liked and eventually won the offer for in a newer neighborhood in Manassas.
