Downsizing is never easy, but was particularly challenging for me being a single parent, working full time and homeschooling during a global pandemic. Not only did I have the challenges of and remodeling, decluttering and staging an open house on a limited budget, but the usual charities that once happily would accept used furniture, and would come to your house to take it, were unwilling to do so during a pandemic. While the easier route would have been to just stay put, maintaining a big house was too much of a financial burden and more work than I could handle, so it was time to rip off the bandaid. I admire Niamh for her patience in putting up with me during this extremely stressful period. She was able to work with me on staging the house within my budget, and helped me find reliable contractors that could get the work done at a moderate cost. Niamh was often at the house working side by side with me during the decluttering and staging process, and assisted me in picking out staging furniture and artwork to make the place look picture perfect for the photo shoot! She timed the market just right, brought me multiple offers, and we were able to negotiate a contingency-free contract that gave me some rent-back time to get the rest of my things into storage as I awaited the completion of my new townhome! I would highly recommend Niamh as a seller's agent because she truly cares about her clients and wants only the best for them!
