I purchased a home with Nate about a month ago and he was great through the entire process. I have actually already referred him to a friend who is working to sell her home with him. Although Mr. Thompson is not a resident of this part of the outer metropolitan Minneapolis area, he did not hesitate to respond to our request and came fully versed in data that reflected the real and historical values of properties here. Nate took charge of preparations for showing, with his provision of an excellent stager, and with his assigning a videographer who produced a piece available on the net to all, that captured the charm of this older place, inside and out, with appropriate background music. A fine piece of work, indeed. The resultant showings came in rapid succession, with offers that permitted Nate to negotiate terms above our asking price, and the "Sold" sign came up in just 3 days. A couple of months of frustrating delays followed, due to septic system compliance failures, communication breakdowns among contractors and city inspectors, until Nate coordinated resolutions to those problems, got the work done and produced final documents for signatures by all parties. We have developed a high level of respect for the virtues required of successful realtors: patience, attention to detail, firmness in negotiations and overall, an infectious enthusiasm that keeps all parties motivated, and finally, trust in the professional skills and in the personal character of Nate Thompson.
