Montell Johnson’s goal is to redefine and improve the relationships between a real estate agent and the community through selfless service. Montell understands homeownership can be a life-changing opportunity and help create a legacy for individuals and families.
The Bay Area native moved to Sacramento at age five and has been living in Natomas over 20 years. With a passion for serving others, Montell joined the United States Air Force where he served in a squadron command center overseeing hundreds of airmen and officers. After leaving the Armed Forces, he became a public employee for the State of California working in various departments, serving the population of this beautiful city and state.
During his service with the State of California, Montell earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. His goal was to become a Behavioral Psychologist, however with an always turning entrepreneurial mind, this goal turned toward real estate. Montell discovered that through real estate he would be able to continue as servant to his community and has striven to help his clients create a legacy through homeownership since becoming a licensed Realtor in 2019.
Montell approaches his profession as a social service that promotes the importance of homeownership. When people own homes, neighborhoods flourish, public education is bolstered, surrounding businesses blossom, and individuals’ quality of life is maximized. Housing keeps people alive, but homes help communities thrive.
When Montell takes on a client, he knows that he’s ultimately helping them become productive members of a community where they can thrive and live their best lives. Communities are made of homes, and homes are filled with people. These are the people that Montell strives to serve!
