Our experience with Knock was not quite what we'd hoped for. The process of finding our new home went well, every agent we worked with was very helpful, and they worked with us to get showings at times that worked best for us at any house we were interested in looking at. Montana helped us through the offer process and made the purchasing process go fairly easily. She was also very helpful with selling, especially when we ran into difficulties with our buyer. Our less pleasant experiences related to the work Knock did for us on our old home before listing. Work did not start as quickly as we'd been told it would, the expected finish date was pushed back but not communicated to us, and the quality was not what we'd been expecting. While the floor materials looked good, installation damaged walls and left residue that messed up what had just been painted; the stove was left about 4 inches from the wall instead of being pushed back in; the cleaning crew skipped steps like cleaning the windows or clean out drawers (both were supposed to happen) and even when we had them go back again it didn't seem like they actually got done. Our project manager was very apologetic about the issues, and did do what she could to address the cleaning issues, but the whole process felt unorganized and poorly executed. Overall, we had very high hopes for how Knock would work, sounding like an excellent way to sell our house. For a house that doesn't need work done before listing, we would recommend using Knock, but if you need work done this may not be the way to go. Knock has a great idea on how to sell your home and buy a new one, but to us, the execution is not quite there.
