Monica met my Dad when he was finally willing to sell the home he owned for over 50 years. At that time, my Dad had experienced a few health issues that convinced him it was time to relocate to a living arrangement that would be more supportive of his health and mobility. During each step, Monica engaged with my Dad and me through the entire process. She dropped by the house with carpet samples and paint colors when we were planning replacements and improvements to the house. She suggested cost effective improvements and provided an array of contractors who could help implement the improvements needed to make the house ready for sale. Even more important was the expert council Monica provided as we worked through the pricing, marketing, and sale process. Monica was interested in my Dad’s opinion and genuinely listened to him as they discussed the value of the house and how best to position it for sale. With Monica’s help expert advice, my Dad was able to determine the price, timeline, and how to prepare the sale of his house. The fact that he had so much say in all of this made him feel very much at ease and gave him confidence as the process unfolded. Finally, I would like to note the genuine caring and sense of concern Monica expressed during the time she spent with my Dad and me. She worked with us for over half a year and would visit with us not only for consults but also drop by and see my Dad just to check in and visit. As a result, my Dad really felt engaged, and supported through the entire process, despite his circumstances. Monica was, in my Dad's words, his Realtor, someone who earned his trust, respect, and confidence.
