1. What is your professional/educational background?
After graduating Dublin Coffman High School, I went on to attend Columbus College of Art and Design. I graduated with a BFA, majoring in fashion design. From there, I worked as a textile designer for almost 20 years, designing for brands such as Limited Too, Gap, Old Navy, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Lucky Brand. in 2013, I relocated with my husband to Los Angeles where I also started my career as a property manager, managing our own rental duplex. This experience has driven my passion for real estate, and it is why I've pursued a career in Real Estate.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
I chose a career in Real Estate because I want to help other people achieve their real estate goals like I have. I think my 12 years experience owning and managing rental property has given me a great foundation. I want to use that experience and knowledge to help others. Buying your first home can be so intimidating and overwhelming, and so can buying your third or fourth investment property. If I can help facilitate that process with the best possible outcome, then that is something worth celebrating!
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
We live in Upper Arlington, Ohio and absolutely LOVE it! After living in Los Angeles for almost 10 years (with 3 kiddos under the age of 7) we do not take for granted the ease of daily life here and the warmth of the community. Living in close proximity to family makes life pretty wonderful too!
4. How do you spend your free time?
What free time? Ha! I love spending time outside as much as possible, especially in my garden or taking walks in our neighborhood. I also like attending hot yoga and pilates classes. I have just gotten back into painting (thanks to my kids) and look forward to doing more of that in the colder months.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
My husband, my 3 kids (technically not possessions but I can't imagine life without them), our big back yard with so much space, our cozy home - a work in progress, and a car (any kind) We drive EVERYWHERE! Some of our best memories yet have been on road trips cross country and back.
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
Positive! If there's a will there's a way!
