We actually met Missy at a home we wanted to view and she was the listing Agent. Right off the bat we liked her "I'll take care of you!" vibe and decided we'd like to work with her to find the perfect home for us. We'd been in the Wilmington area for almost 20 years so we knew *exactly* what we wanted, however we needed to wait for the perfect home price that agreed with the budget; but also in our sought after location! Missy was SO patient with us, and she never squashed the dream. She supported us the entire way. It took almost a year to find the home we ended up loving, and ultimately buying. She didn't push us to get out there and look, just worked with us when we saw one we *needed* to see! Missy is knowledgeable has has her "people" in place for your due diligence time period, she sends reminders of "to-do's" & updates as needed. She was there to listen when we had some concerns & promptly helped us get a trades professional in to assess. She was just as excited for this home for us as we were, and we felt like we had a true partner in what can be a very daunting task at times. Missy was an absolute pleasure to work with when selling our home in Wilmington. We were living out of town during the process and felt very comfortable leaving our home in her hands. She was always available via call, text, or FaceTime! We were in the process of closing on the house when a major hurricane came through, Missy worked diligently to get all necessary inspections completed ASAP and kept us on track to close on the house as quickly as possible. My wife and I came down to investigate the Wilmington area a little over a year ago. Being married for 25 years, I have come to accept that plans change, on a dime. On a Friday afternoon, “someone” made the decision that they wanted to tour homes, the next day. Within an hour we had plans to meet the very next day. We quickly made a contingency offers on two homes that same day, both rejected. Then we moved onto a new construction. Missy was an absolute professional dealing with the countless delays associated with the build of our home. I could always reach out to her from our home in MA and she always responded. She absolutely went beyond her responsibilities in keeping us informed of problems and dealing with the builder to get items resolved…..and we also referred to her as a “Southern Belle” to friends and family.
