Mindy recently helped us sell a commercial condo unit and replace it with a residential investment property. To defer our potential capital gain tax, we structured our two transactions under IRS Code Sec. 1031, like-kind properties exchange, which required her knowledge of the subject matter as well as her functional skills to run through the process with efficiency. She accomplished her task beautifully. Commercial properties are tough to mover under the present market conditions. Our property had been on the market well over 7 moths before Mindy took up the listing.
