It’s no secret that the market in South Florida is nuts right now and if you aren’t offering cash, then there is a really good chance you’ll be missing out. That is unless you have Milly Taylor on your side. A short time before our purchase, we reached out to Milly due to a recommendation from a trusted friend. We more or less gave her an idea of what our “forever home” would look like and on a Friday afternoon a few weeks later, Milly called us about a property that had been on the market less than an hour. Somehow she was able to get us scheduled for a showing that same evening. Less than a minute into the showing my wife and I agreed that Milly had found exactly what we were looking for. As soon as we got outside we let her know we wanted to make an offer. I remember telling myself not to get my hopes up too high because we weren’t able to offer cash like so many others. Milly said “okay, let me get to work”. So the fact that it was late on a Friday afternoon, I figured we would hear something Monday. But Milly had other ideas. That night she connected us with a great mortgage broker and we worked until nearly midnight to get pre approved and had an offer submitted. She was even convincing enough to get the owners to cancel the open house for the weekend! From there it was nothing but smooth sailing. Milly seamlessly guided us throughout the entire process, always replied to our questions/comments immediately, and was physically present for every inspection, walkthrough, and signing along the way. She even brought us a custom made housewarming gift at the closing. Milly Taylor is amazing at what she does and I can honestly say that we wouldn’t be living in the house of our dreams if it weren’t for her.
