First, it is clear that Mikelle knows the Denver and surrounding area markets inside and out. She really listened and internalized what was important to us, which was invaluable in figuring out the neighborhoods to focus our attentions on. Second, she understands the minutia of the financial and contractual details surrounding these complex transactions. This set my mind at ease as we had not bought or sold real estate in over 20 years. When I had a "freak out moment" about a home inspection, she calmly and expertly guided me through the questions and concerns I had and I'm so glad she did because we now own a lovely home in our dream neighborhood. The sellers of this home had multiple above price offers and I credit Mikelle with expertly communicating with the selling agent to position us and our financials as the best option. I believe her skill and knowledge in communicating this is why they ultimately settled on our offer. Finally, on the selling side, we were nervous about the rapidly shifting markets/rates and if we could sell our house for top dollar. Mikelle chose the perfect time to put it on the market and marketed the home in such a way as to make it a very attractive option for the price range. The end result was that we were under contract within about 5 days and ended up with 10K above asking - again in a very tricky and shifting market.
