First time home buyer here. Renting for the last 10 years It was finally time to take the plunge. Mike came highly recommended and got right to work for my family. Over the next few days days Mike took us all over Marietta, Woodstock, Kennesaw, Acworth, and Canton to view different homes my family and I had found organically through the Zillow machine - as well as homes Mike would come across that meet our needs. During the 3 or 4 days of showings, Mike carefully constructed a detailed schedule of what the day would consist of so we were aware, prepared, and efficient with our time. He was instrumental in pointing out details we did not know to look for, and explaining common processes/practices for handling different things with the home. We learned pretty quickly what we liked and didn't like with homes after seeing the first few. Mike did a great job leading us forward in the search process - and helping us navigate through one of the most stressful things you will do in your life. After we had narrowed our choices down to two, we took a few days to think it over and called Mike late one night letting him know we were ready to put an offer in on a property. Having never done this before - Mike carefully walked us though what the next steps would be to submit the offer, and got right to work with the drop of a hat. Our offer was fair, clear, and ultimately accepted by the sellers! Over the next few days Mike laid out a clear list of important dates/documents/deliverables to keep us on track and moving forward. His recommended loan officer Lane was a total boss and made the mortgage process a breeze. As we got closer to closing Mike was in touch to make sure we didn't have any further questions, and knew the plan for final walk through and signing. Bottom line here: Mike is phenomenal human being. He knows this area better than most (use to your advantage) - and will be one the most professional people you will get a chance to work with.
