Born in Segundo Barrio of El Paso to crop workers, he learned the meaning of hard work and the value of a dollar. He has lived in all 4 corners of El Paso. After his childhood in Segundo Barrio he attended Irvin High School while living in the North East. After graduating, he lived in the Lower Valley before marrying his high school sweetheart Lisa. They then lived on the East side where they had their first born Yasmine, they then lived on the West Side of El Paso before moving back to the East Side where his son Miguel was born and where the Madrid family has settled and has lived for the last 20 years.
Miguel has had a very well-rounded career, barely a teen he worked the chili and onion fields of New Mexico. He then worked factory jobs for a few years until he went into sales. Selling Rainbow vacuum cleaners where he quickly became a sales manager. After two years at Rainbow he went to become the Marketing Manager for Rainsoft Water Treatment where he worked for five years. He then went to the retail industry, becoming a manager at Wal-Mart having been there ten years, he then accepted a sales position with RedBull Energy. With RedBull Miguel reached his goal of becoming a District Manager. After ten years at RedBull he decided he wanted to help people on a more personal level and that is why he chose to go into real estate.
