I have know Mickie for a long time. We have been renting for years and kept putting away every time we wanted to buy a house. The timing was not for us at the time. After facing a reality with our landlord was planning on retiring and raising our rent to meet her finances, we decided to buy our first house. Our budget range was consider a sellers market. Raising one year old daughter and looking at Hundreds houses online was a challenge for us and stressful. They were always willing to answer any question and were always available when we needed to speak with them. The entire Mickie C team were amazing. They kept what was in our best interest first and foremost. After finding the home we would purchase our agent handed us off to Shawna and she made sure we were aware of any important dates that were coming up and handled negotiations impeccably. Our agent Renee was awesome and couldn't have been more patient with us during our search. She truly cared about getting us what we wanted and shared in the couple of heartaches we suffered along the way. We were buying from a relocation company and there was no traditional 10 day option period for us to back out if the house was a lemon. Julie walked us through the somewhat unusual terms of the agreement so my husband and i could make an informed decision. Once our offer was accepted, Shawna stepped in to focus on the transaction, pulling us in where information or decisions were needed (inspection results and fixes), answering questions, and overall keeping us well informed about the progress and making sure it was a smooth, on-time close. Our seller’s agent (Dawn Demeris), has been great. She and Mickie were patient with us while we were getting our house ready for sale, and offered guidance on updates, what not to worry about, etc. They had a professional photographer take wonderful pictures of the home for the listing. Once we moved out, they covered the costs of staging to ensure the home still looked wonderful for potential buyers. Dawn gave updates every Monday, and in between when needed or if i had random, off-the-wall questions. They helped us make some tough decisions and we are happy with where we landed. Shawna is now helping with this close as well, so i know it will go smoothly. These ladies were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and were pleasant and professional to work with. Mickie and her team have helped us sell 2 houses and buy 2 houses. They have also helped our daughter buy her first home. There is no one else I would trust to buy or sell a house. I definitely recommend Mickie and her team!
