While I hate reading long recommendations, I hope you will read all that follows to understand why I strongly recommend Michelle Price for your Realty needs. In mid-September 2020, after I signed an employment contract with a Des Moines based company, I asked HR if they had any recommendations for a Realtor, as I would be relocating my family from Kansas City. They gave me Michelle Price's name and I contacted her by email. Within a few hours, she had responded and soon we had a group phone call with my husband to discuss timelines and what we were looking for. When we decided on a specific school district we were interested in, Michelle followed up with a not-at-all-overwhelming number of listings sent directly to us. Almost all of then had at least 3 of our 4 of our "must have features." We drove to Des Moines with the kids the last weekend of September to walk through some available houses. We had strong interest in one of the homes but concern about flooding, so she did her research and was able to answer our question, knowing the answer would dissuade us from pursing the purchase of that specific house. To me, this demonstrated remarkable integrity. She was more interested in our long term happiness than with earning a commission with a sale. The next weekend, we again went up to Des Moines and walked through several more homes on Sunday morning Oct 4th. The first one we saw that day blew us away. She had listened to what we said the first day we looked at houses and had chosen a home that we probably would not have considered on our own, but she knew it would interest us. None that we saw afterward compared. We placed an offer at 11:45 and the seller accepted it by 12:30. Closed on 11/6, moved in 11/15, thanks in part to Michelle working miracles to help us arrange an inspection and recommended repairs. TALK TO HER! You won't be disappointed!

Michelle helped me purchase a home years ago and I was so happy then that I've since referred her to others and decided to use her recently while I built a home. So happy we did. She sat in on all of the builder meetings, kept meticulous notes, kept us all on track and even acted as a mediator when we found discrepancies with what the builder delivered vs. what was promised. Michelle made our part so easy. Building can be emotional and she let us sit back and enjoy the process. If things were getting stressful, she jumped in to take away our stress. Even now, months after we've closed and moved in, she is still providing us with counsel when we've found things the builder has neglected and has set up and accompanied us to subsequent meetings with the builder. She's willing to have the tough conversations so that we don't have to. If you've never considered using a realtor during the building process, reconsider. All of our neighbors are in awe of our experience with her and wish they would have used her during their experience. I can't recommend Michelle enough!!! (And during all this, she managed to sell our other property. We barely lifted a finger!)

She was the only realtor that I visited with that took the time to sit down with me and offer suggestions for minimizing disruptions to my mom during a time that was really difficult for her (…letting go of house that she had lived in for over 40 years).
