We were referred to Michele Shindeling by a co-worker when we moved to Michigan. From day one, she was very responsive and helpful. Even when she was unavailable, she made sure there was someone there to help us when it was convenient for us. She helped us as first time home buyers to understand what needed to be done and how to get it done. She was also honest and helpful when it came to negotiations. The whole home-buying experience we had with Michele was positive. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a home.
We have worked with Michele before and when we decided to take a job outside the area she was our 1st choice to help sell our home, and we were NOT disappointed! We got an offer in days, above asking, and the process couldn't have been smoother. Michele was really on top of things throughout the whole process. She gave us great advice, was quick to get engaged and get things moving, helped support by staging our house with furniture for the showings, and even recommend local contractors to help get our house in tip top shape so that we could get the best offer possible. With some real estate agents you worry about whether they're actively paying attention to getting your home sold, or are they getting you the best deal. At the end of the day you expect them to be your expert eyes and ears so nothing gets missed and things go smooth...which isn't the case with many agents. But with Michele you get soooo much more! She really is like family which is a real luxury when buying / selling a home.

Buying in a seller's market is tricky, but Michele helped us to get a house that we love and that was in our price range. She helped us to think strategically about our home buying, and she is very knowledgeable about the homes themselves (I think she is a licensed contractor as well). I don't think our offer would have been chosen if we didn't have Michelle.
There is no realtor equal to, or like Michele Shinedling. She is very responsive, kind, and respectfully informative all along the way. She always made me and Kristen feel comfortable and warm in any situation. Michele has a great eye for detail and has good taste if you have style questions. She and her team are very professional, doing high quality work, from photography, drone shots, brochures, listing, showings, staged décor, to running spreadsheet analysis on the 9 offers we received in 3 days, ... etc. I recommend Michele 1,000% and I have referred many of my friends to her! :)

With our family raised it was time to sell our two-story Colonial and find a more comfortable single story Ranch. But how do you choose the right realtor to trust with the biggest transaction of your life? At that moment our neighbors across the street had just put their house up for sale with Michele, so we watched with great interest. We were very impressed with her online listing that featured professional photographs, a 3D tour, drone footage of the property, as well as room sizes. (As house hunters we can attest that nothing wastes more time than a lack of information and good photos!) Their house sold in one month and they spoke highly of her. We then brought Michele over to sell our home and she guided us through every step of the process. In one weekend we received a great offer. Finding the home we wanted took longer as the market has been extremely competitive for buyers this year and especially for picky ones like us. When the right one did come along, Michele worked quickly to help us to make a good offer and we got the house. Michele is smart, savvy, and professional. We appreciated her positive attitude and that she is a genuinely nice person.
