The two most important things I look for in a realtor are basic competence, and responsiveness. Basic competence is important for getting through the transaction quickly. For instance, Mike knew about the history of the property and its value relative to the town ordinances for a good price point; and the high tech ways to make offers/counter offers quick and accepted fast. Knowing those extras puts him above and beyond. Responsiveness is important because curve balls are always expected. For instance, I forgot to retain a lawyer in time, but Mike responded in record time to each item my lawyer needed. For that and more I give 5 stars and A++++.

We were first time homebuyers, looking into a variety of options to suit our needs. Michael was on the case. He did the first month of house tours with us by Zoom call, as we were out of towners, and he was so professional about it. Going into creepy, dark basements in fixer upper houses for us without complaint. We eventually found our dream house, which was basically the opposite of anything we'd previously considered, and Michael was more than willing to get us in to see it. Then, when the house turned into a bidding war, he helped us edge the competitor out. He's such a kind, considerate and friendly realtor - but he also knows when to be a bit of a shark and do some heavy hitting to get you the price you want or the negotiations you need. I'm sure we weren't the easiest clients to deal with, but he was so responsive and helped walk us through every step. I can think of at least 5 times where he hopped on calls with us after 8:00pm just to answer a few questions for us so we didn't have to wait until the next day, yet was up bright and early the next day responding immediately as well! He even worked hard to have us close early on our home, to meet a scheduling concern. We were so lucky to have him. We can't wait to work with him again on some investment properties.
