Another Closed Deal for Me

This was my second time I hired Michael as my agent. The first time, we closed on time and the ride was tremendously smooth. On this first transaction back in 2020, Michael was just starting out in his new career as an Real Estate Agent after a long and lustrous career in the military. His discipline and disposition assured me he was the right person for the job and how he would be able to handle me personally. Because of the great experience I had in 2020, I called him once again to assist me with a sell of one of my rental properties. This transaction had its challenges, twists and turns that required a special type of skill set that Michael ultimately demonstrated to me. I can be extremely demanding at times (never personal) but Michael always had a way to balance himself, being able to manage my business disposition and how I react to adverse information and difficulties related to the process of selling a home. We had offers within a few days, with one being accepted and ultimately following out of escrow. Naturally, I felt the frustration but I had the Army Guy that buys and sells home on my side. Once again, that trained discipline he acquired in the military definitely transferred well to his new career. He said, let’s move forward and get this house back on the market and get it sold. The fun started all over again and that same weekend, it sold again, with a higher offer than the first offer that fell out of escrow. Did everything go smooth on this second time around, absolutely not…it’s Escrow and these things are expected. However, when you have an agent that understands how to temper people and manage expectations, simultaneously, you eventually get the job done, and that’s the name of the game! Michael got the job done. If I’m afforded the opportunity to do more real estate deals in the future, I’ve got the Army guy that will be by my side to get er’ done!
