About Michael

Mike Butler discovered the Texas Hill Country while studying at UT. He started buying local property in the 1980's. Then in 2001 he teamed up with Westway Custom Builders, building custom homes in Horseshoe Bay until 2003. Received invaluable experience, especially in helping clients with home and real estate matters! He always enjoyed sales, and in 2004 started working for the developer of Horseshoe Bay. In the fall of 2017 a great opportunity came available to join the RE/MAX Horseshoe Bay Resort Sales Co. Mike is a multi–million–dollar producer and a founder of Escondido, a private lakeside golf preserve. He also enjoys the amenities at Horseshoe Bay Resort, and has a vested interest in the Jack Nicklaus Summit Rock development. His hobbies are golf, music, good movies, great food, and travel when time allows. He supports Boys and Girls Club and the local Helping Center. He married the love of his life, Marilyn, in 1971. They support the SPCA , the Dogs for Soldiers program, and Wounded Warriors. Most of all, he enjoys making lifetime friends and helping clients find their dream homes!! I appreciate everyone's continued support.
