Selling a house, a primary residence of over a decade, is not a light decision to make. Although I thought it was time to make a change, I needed a realtor who understood how personal this move can be and one who had the knowledge, expertise, patience and sensitivity. Michael was all that and more. After meeting Michael I was sold on him not only as a realtor, but as a genuinely good person. He educated me on the market, what I can reasonably expect to get for the house and he kept stressing that his goal for this transaction is to make it a win win experience for seller and buyer. I feel he went above and beyond to accomplish that goal. As an extra bonus, Michael has the talent for interior design. Michael was referred to us by our good friends who worked with him years ago when they were first time home buyers. They have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath in Lake Balboa. When we decided we wanted to start looking, we met with Michael, and the rest was history. He gives a free first time home buyers class that goes over everything you'll want to know as someone entering the real estate market for the first time. We'd heard nightmares from our friends who had gone through the experience in the past year, so we were nervous, but he put our nerves at ease. Not only did he go through the whole process, but he explained the nuances in how he does business and why that would work to our benefit. Having that knowledge before getting into the actual buying process was super helpful! Once we started looking, Michael was straight forward and super communicative. He takes his responsibility as your agent seriously. We wrote one offer, and we got that house, a 2 bed, 2 bath in Inglewood. He scheduled all of the inspections with his regular guys who we thought were great. He also worked well with the seller's agent. The escrow process wasn't without its bumps, but Michael was always in communication to explain what was happening and how to get through it. All in all, we had a great experience with Michael and would recommend him to anyone who wants a shrewd agent to have their back (especially first time buyers!!!)
