George & I started looking for a house in GA 12 years ago. We met Michael Anderson who did an excellent job showing us several houses in the areas we were interested in. His knowledge and professionalism sold us to make the move from Galena Illinois to Georgia. Unfortunately, the real estate market took a big dive and we could not sell our house as expected. We kept in touch with Michael through the years and always hoped that our dream of moving South would become a reality. We listed our home again in August hoping for a quick sale. Covid 19 brought a lot of people to Galena escaping the virus and settling in a more rural area. We got several offers and ended up contacting Mike to continue as planned 12 years earlier. He sent us a daily list of available homes in our preferred neighborhood/s. After viewing several of our pre- selected homes, he showed us the one we fell in love with. His long time experience in the Real Estate Market helped tremendously in the negotiation with the seller and their real estate agent. We were not typical sellers. My sister Christine had died so my sister Agnes in NJ and I in SC were left with the task of selling her house. I had a great handyman helping me and since I was not familiar with realtors in the area, I asked him if he could recommend a realtor and he gave me Mike's name. When I met Mike, he gave me several suggestions and one of them was to get a house inspection so that I could get ahead of any issues that needed to be fixed in the home. That was money well spent since I was able to have the handyman fix anything that was found. Mike was also very helpful during this whole process and always kept in contact with me even when I was back in NJ to see how things were going. He was always available to answer any questions that came up and he always responded quickly. When it came time to put the house on the market, he explained the whole contract to me in simple terms and how things worked in Georgia. We ended up getting multiple offers and even had one buyer back out and since he had such a long history in the business, he guided us through everything we went through and was always positive that the house would sell and it eventually did.
