M.G. Farris is a true 4th generation Native Atlantean. Farris grew up in Brookwood Hills and has lived Brookhaven and North Fulton. He has resided in Buckhead since 2001 and knows Atlanta like the back of his hand! Farris’ Father and Grandfather have strong ties to Atlanta and have both worked as the Fulton County Commissioner. Farris has very strong ties and understanding in the Real Estate business thanks to his father. In the 1970's, Farris' father became involved in Real Estate and worked for Phipps Land Company and became the first leasing agent for Phipps Plaza. He started developing in the Florida panhandle in 1974 and worked for the State of Georgia as director of space management securing office space for the state’s needs and oversaw the building of several state buildings. By the 1980’s his father got his Broker license and opened Farris & Associates, specializing in land acquisitions. Real Estate runs in his blood. Farris is striving for the same thing as his father and wants to help his clients "Live Their Luxury". With Farris’ extensive knowledge about Atlanta coupled with his experience in the hospitality industry, he is eager to meet new people and give them an opportunity to make new memories. Farris specializes in the Buckhead and Lake Burton, areas and has extensive ties through 30a in the Florida panhandle. Not only is Farris passionate about Real Estate, he is also highly skilled in the Culinary Arts world. He is a graduate of the prestigious New England Culinary Institute (NECI) and has worked at numerous notable establishments in Cape Town, South Africa, New York and Atlanta. He has worked as Executive Chef and has run 4 and 5 star independent and restaurants for some of the world’s most influential Chefs for over 20yrs. In 2017, Farris began working in restaurant franchising and hospitality ventures. In 2018, Farris founded the PROTEA group, a restaurant holding company, that would combine his years in the kitchen and culinary arts with this new hospitality venture. Currently the PROTEA Group, LLC holds the restaurants Milton Park, MP.Que, The Shak, and the Burton Cellar Society, a high end Wine Club subscription. Amazing experience

It has been an amazing experience working with MG. It was the first time for me to buy a house and he made the process go very smoothly. MG was very well prepared for the visits of the potential houses and very knowledgeable about them. Once we found the right one he was super efficient at putting all the info together to beat the deadlines and all of that with a great smile and a very positive attitude! Without MG I would not be enjoying my new house today!

Experienced, professional and compassionate

Selling a home over the holidays that you lived in for 14 years is not for the faint hearted. It's a busy time and an emotional experience.
