This is a long review but having worked with Meredith for almost a year and a half, I do not feel two sentences would suffice given the great work she has done for my family on buying land, selling a home, and building a custom home. I met Meredith when she was brand new to real estate. While that may have deterred some people, my wife and I had a good feeling about Meredith and I'm glad we trusted our gut because her work ethic, knowledge of the market, and personality made her breeze to work with. Meredith has been with us every step of the way on building our new house and selling our old house. Meredith took the time to find parcels of land for sale and when some of the covenants did not align with our dream home, she contacted another realtor that had previously listed some lots for sale in a neighborhood we were interested in moving into. That extra step on her end helped us secure almost 2 acres in a neighborhood that was in the country and not in a municipality; the exact compromise my wife and I were looking for. Meredith also helped us locate our builder (Ashton-Knox Custom Homes) once we told her the type of home we were looking at building and its location. She stayed in constant communication with our builder on updates throughout the building process and relayed those to us immediately. When it came time to sell our first home, Meredith took the time to sit us down and go over the original listing price based on comps in the area. We came up with a number my wife and I were happy with and once our house went live we had numerous offers the same day and even two pre-listing offers. I believe her knowledge of the market helped us maximize our profit in such a hot sellers market. If you want an agent that will communicate with you, shoot you straight, and fight for your best interest, then I cannot recommend Meredith Ross enough.
