Melissa Vance is a very skilled and professional real estate agent. We were directed to her from 3 different people's recommendations. Melissa really gets to know her clients and what they are looking for in a house. She cares about specifics and has an eye for detail. We were purchasing a home in Florida while we are living in Maryland. She did a lot of leg work for us, going to visit houses that we would find, setting up Facetime walk-throughs so we could see the house through her phone, researching our questions with the seller regarding the house, and checking on us frequently to make sure we had what we needed. After she visited a house she would provide her thoughts and opinions on the house as it pertained to what we were looking for. She really cares about her clients needs and does an amazing job in finding the perfect home. When I flew out to see a house she would pick me up from the airport, take me to the house, and drop me back off at the airport. My wife and I want to buy our second home in Orlando Florida so we emailed few realtors since we are form New York and we quickly got a response from Melissa. We couldn't make it to Florida until early this year due to pandemic but Melissa stayed in touch with us through out the whole time. She is very knowledgeable and helped us find the right home and stayed on top of the builder, mortgage broker and the construction manager since we could not be there for more than couple of times. She was with us during the design meeting, walked thru the house when it was completed with the construction manager and made a list of things needed to be completed. My sister and I were looking to purchase our first home together and found Metro City Realty through a google search. We lucked out with getting Melissa as our agent. From our first meeting, she was very inviting, professional, organized, and knowledgeable about the areas we were interested in, to say the least. She provided us with various buying options, as we were first time homebuyers on a budget. It was very easy to get in touch with Melissa, via email and phone. She was available for us, and it seemed as if we were her only clients at the time, which I know we were not. Also the internal MLS site that Metro City Realty uses, was a god-send, as we were able to save homes that we wanted to visit and Melissa would set everything up for us. In addition to her finding and sending us homes that matched our must-have list. After viewing just a small handful of homes, we found the "one", we worked with Melissa and a broker that she referred us to in order to put in an offer. Unfortunately, this home was a short sale and after the months of waiting, the bank did not approve the seller's asking price; therefore, our offer was off the table. At this point, we were in a time crunch, as we had just one month before our apartment lease was up. Melissa went out with us what seemed to be daily in order for us to find the right home. She was patient and understanding of our timeline as well as our must-haves. We were able to find the perfect townhouse within our budget and within our timeline.
