My wife and I were in the process of looking to buy our first home. We had no idea what we were doing. Melissa (our realtor) was an absolute joy to work with from the first home we looked at, to closing day. She was very patient with us, as we dragged her to probably about 30 homes! (The right one was out there somewhere!) We had fallen in love with one home and as we made our first offer, Melissa walked us through every step of the way. The seller’s realtor was a bit difficult to work with, but Melissa went to bat for us in every way she could. Unfortunately that house did not work out for us. HOWEVER, Through more vigorous searching and spontaneous texts to Melissa to look at more houses - “the one” appeared. We were able to look at it, and put an offer in the same day. They accepted our offer! Through all of this searching, my wife and I had some specific needs that had to be met in order for us to be able to purchase the home.
