Melissa helped us in finding our home, secure a loan by advising what paperwork was needed and always answered texts and emails. Melissa contracted COVID19 in the midst of us working on paperwork but she continued to help us in getting the right paperwork in to get our beautiful new home. Melissa listed and sold our home in just 2 days. All paperwork was done electronically which was very convenient. She gave excellent advice on negotiations. All inspections and the appraisal were done in a timely manner and we were notified in advance of those appointment times. Melissa was also present at closing to make sure everything was in order. I have worked with two realtors in my life: I do not know whether the first one was any good (I was not very impressed), but I cannot gush enough about how amazing it was to work with Melissa! Melissa was recommended to my wife and me through a friend at work. When we called her, she was friendly and professional. She set up a time immediately to view our home. She was on time and prepared. We told her what we were looking for and our goals for the sale of our home. She listened, and most importantly, was up front and honest about what was realistic and what was not realistic and some things that could/should be done to the home to make it more marketable. She kept tabs on us through the whole process, and was there to answer any questions we had along the way and to point us towards any professionals that could help us if she could not. When we listed the home, I was skeptical that it would fetch anything near what she suggested. Not only did the home sell within a week, but for above list price! I do not know how she accomplished it, but I was blown away. She also assisted in arranging the purchase of our new home, and was on top of the ball making sure the sale and purchase went off without a hitch and went the extra mile to get us into the new house a few days early so that we could be fully moved out and ready to go on closing day. Bottom line: The sale and purchase of a home is an extremely stressful time in your life. Melissa was a dream to work with because she took the time to listen to want you want and worked tirelessly and quickly to accomplish those goals. I cannot recommend a realtor more highly than her.
