Melissa became a resident of Boca Grande in 2013, where she has visited since 1982 when her parents first moved there. Melissa is passionate about everything the area has to offer. She has been involved in the community for over 30 years, and always makes time to give back. She volunteers with the Johann Fust Library Foundation and sits on the board of the Boca Grande Sea Turtle Association, where she is known for her extensive knowledge of turtle trivia. She was recently named Volunteer Coordinator at the Boca Grande Historical Society. Melissa was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After attending Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in sales and marketing. While there, she worked with some of the most successful and recognizable brands in the world including Bausch+Lomb, Kraft foods, Xerox, Colgate Palmolive, M&M Mars and Taco Bell. This exposure to the client service area of sales and marketing made her transition into real estate easy and natural, allowing her to fully utilize her extensive business and marketing skills. Beyond staying close to home, Melissa enjoys traveling throughout the country and to exciting destinations around the world. In real estate, she loves what she does and it shows with her dedication, hard work, and commitment to providing unsurpassed service and the highest professional standards. Terrific Realtor!

Thanks to Melissa sticking with us as we pondered Condo or House; we found the perfect spot for us to enjoy a 2 nd home in Venice. Her knowledge of areas and availability helped us greatly as we looked from our full time home. After 2 days of looking in Venice, we bought..... she knew just what we liked!!! Her attention to detail and quick response were also a great help since we could not stay for inspection & closing. So easy to work with and so competent; that’s Melissa!!

Please consider working with Mel! She is so helpful with the home search and showed us exactly the types of properties we are interested in. We found a place the first day! She knows the area and advised us on the differences between communities. She helped us negotiate the best deal and continues to support us through the purchase process. She is recommending services for our purchase process and for our prospective rental. She will support us in years to come when we have any questions or concerns.
