I was truly buying this house on a leap of faith - my son had recently purchased a home without being physically present to shop for houses, and had an extremely satisfying experience relocating his family across the country to this new neighborhood the family saw for the first time after closing. I trusted my son's recommendation of Melissa, and was astonished at how effectively she helped me also to identify a home to purchase while I was not present to see in person the different homes being considered. We went over the listings long distance, and she was very good with showing me images and video of any house we might consider a possibility. We found one that seemed just right, within walking distance of my son's new house. I had the kind of excitement a kid has on Christmas morning, when the day of closing I saw my new home in person for the first time. Now in our new neighborhood I have had numerous questions - who to contact for this-or-that service in my new area, and Melissa has been a wealth of information. If you are moving to the area and it's completely new to you, you will be in good hands with Melissa as your agent. When you're new in town, its great to already have someone like her as a friend.
