If you’re looking for an agent you should stop looking and work with Melissa and Mark. If they didn’t have all the answers (they did, unless it was a lender question), they ensured we found out the answers. We had a horrible house buying experience 5 years prior with another realtor and learned the importance of communication. 9 out of 10 times Melissa responded within 10 minutes. Every once in a while, it took closer to an hour. This is what makes a great realtor. Communication! We never felt like a question was too silly. The service she provided was top notch. If we wanted to put an offer in, she did so within a few hours!!!! She was always communicating with the seller’s realtor. She never hesitated when we asked a question about a house we were looking at. She would ask them and would often get background information on the house we were looking at. Selling our house was surprising smooth. We had never sold a house so we don’t know anything different from Melissa. Lord willing willing - we’ll never know anything different. They came over about 3 times when we started asking if we should do this or that to the old house. One time we invited them over to just look at the improvements. Anything she could do for us, she did. :) Our time line: 1) We selected them the second week of June to sell our home. 2) We put the Manchester house on the market 3rd week of July (we could of done it sooner but it was us who wanted to wait… we didn’t know if we wanted to build or not). It was on the market on Friday. We selected an offer Monday ($20,000 more than we put it on the market for btw). 3) We started looking at homes in La Vergne/Smyrna sometime towards the end of July. (We stayed at my in-laws while looking, this was intentional). 4) Found the home of our dreams on Labor Day weekend. 5) Closed within 3 to 4 weeks (could of closed sooner but the seller wasn’t ready). 6) They were with us throughout the whole process. Every signing!!!
