Melanie was the first and only agent we interviewed; I knew immediately that we were in good hands. Her advice on preparing our home for sale was spot on, and we didn't waste needless funds on upgrades which wouldn't have substantially increased our return on investment. She was honest with us throughout our home sale process, realistic about pricing even when it was hard to accept, and always prepared with comps and market reports to justify price adjustments. I noticed that when we had open houses or interactions with potential buyers, Melanie always came across as polished and professional, even down to her attire. Not every agent does, and in my opinion, that makes a big difference. When I (needlessly) panicked after some time had elapsed on our listing, Melanie was reassuring and calm. Communication was excellent. All of my texts and emails and phone calls were promptly returned, and I was truly appreciative of the honest feedback from buyers which she passed along. When the time came closing and we were assigned to others associated with Keller Williams, they were similarly competent and proactive. And, the movers, painters and moving people Melanie referred us to were top-notch in terms of quality of workmanship and competitive pricing. Melanie was great she had all the answers to our questions maybe silly ones at times but she was knowledgeable and definitely knows her business. Apart from selling our house that we built 22 years ago and leaving our great neighborhood Melanie was great at treating us with the human and emotional side of selling our house and to us that was the most important thing that we will take away from working with her. Trying to purchase a home from 1200 miles away had its challenges. From our initial contact with Melanie to the time we actually bought a home took a few years. Melanie was very patient and always willing to meet with us when we were able to visit the area. When we weren't able to see prospective homes personally, Melanie would Facetime a tour with us and did so multiple times. Our search covered a pretty large geographical area and Melanie must have driven several hundred miles over time to help us.
