I worked with Gabrielle Laub of the Melanie McLaird Group. Gabrielle helped us purchase a new home and sold our old home. I first contacted the McLaird group while relocating to Oklahoma. However, I wasn’t able to use them due to the Relo preferred realtor benefits. Gabrielle texted me from time to time to check in with us, (not annoyingly), to see if we were ready to move. After 2-1/2 years we were ready. We found a home, had a few hiccups with the sellers realtor, but quickly overcame them and closed quick. Gabrielle put together an offer that was exclusive WITHOUT offering over the asking price. Our offer was better than other offers that offered 5k over asking price!!!! Phenomenal! We got the house we wanted. Selling our other home was absolutely terrifying for us. We knew the house had issues. Per Gabrielle and Melanie’s direction we paid for slab and plumbing inspections and got quotes for the repairs for the prospective buyers. Sure, paying for these inspections was not what I wanted, (I didn’t want to put another penny into the house), but I could see the benefit in doing the legwork for a buyer. So we did it and it was the right thing to do. We put it up As Is, cash deal. After 2-1/2 weeks of inspections and quotes we put it on the market. 2 days later we had and offer. 9 days later closed and done. I can honestly say moving to Oklahoma and going through the buying process with an average to below average realtor can be traumatic. Having a realtor that is above average to excellent is a very awesome experience. What you get when you go with Melanie McLaird’s Group is excellence. The bar has been set high by this group. I can’t say enough about Gabrielle Laub. Melanie McLaird has an excellent group with excellent people.

Melanie was fantastic. We had no idea what we were doing when we first started looking for a house, but she was patient and knowledgeable even when we asked the same question a million times. She regularly made herself available to us well after business hours (10-11pm!), and responded promptly to texts and calls even when she had the flu and a high temperature. She always had a contact ready to suggest for us any time we needed one, including our mortgage broker (who was also great). We were looking to buy the house partly as an investment, and Melanie knew exactly what to look for in terms of both the quality of the house, and the desirability of the areas we looked in. And to top it all off, she was even fun to be around! 10/10 highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Melanie. We have been through the full range of selling a home with her and then finding a new one. From the very start her advise and council was perfect. During the remodel before we put our home on the market, she helped tirelessly with coordinating colors of walls, carpet, tile and wood flooring. She worked well with us and our contractor to maximize the return on our investment. Some of the things she advised were not things that we would have necessarily chosen for ourselves, but she knows the market and it worked! We had a full price offer in a week . She advised us in making the offer on our new home and has been there through the entire process from inspections and recommendations to navigating paperwork.
