We recently purchased a home in Manchester, Connecticut through Jeff and Mel Rothman (eXp Realty). Since we were living out-of-state, and had very specific needs and wants for the floor plan and property, it took us 9+ months to find our new home. While other realtors certainly would have wrung their hands about our choosiness, Jeff and Mel were always patient with us—doing walkthroughs with local family members, face-timing with us when we couldn’t be there for the initial viewing, and sending us detailed follow-up videos for further consideration. They brought in-depth knowledge of construction, real estate and the local market to the table. Additionally, they have built an extensive network throughout CT of specialists in various professions (e.g., financing, roofing, plumbing, etc.), and they are more than willing to share their contacts. Although the market was white hot in CT while we were looking at homes, their ability to navigate through the chaos of rapidly changing prices, multiple bid offers, and overall market competitiveness was brilliant! They know the towns and cities so well, they were able to provide very reliable local comps for a variety of homes, and helped us to construct a winning offer. I can't say enough about Mel. We met when I was looking for a home, and as a buyers agent, she is stellar! She does an excellent job making sure the people she works with understand the process, are aware of important deadlines, and makes sure that there are no unexpected issues with the closing. But when but decided to sell my property in Connecticut, Mel truly went above and beyond. I currently live out of state, and she assisted in so many ways. From helping to find the contractors to checking all of the details when they finished. An absolute professional from beginning to end.
