Our family had experienced a geographical work-related relocation and the decision to buy a home was expedited due to some unforeseen circumstances. We met Megan at an open house we happened to be driving by and instantly enjoyed her knowledge and personal vibe. We hadn't decided to rush into finding a realtor but that first meeting sold us in knowing we wanted Megan to work with us in finding a second home in Bend. It was challenging that as a couple, I was still geographically in Denver, while Joe was in Bend. We were doing a lot of FaceTime and conference calls, and Megan never missed a beat when being intentional to keep me included to ensure we were being treated as a couple. We submitted our first offer on a home, and we were working towards closing when it was discovered the home wasn't a good fit for us and we terminated that contract. Megan was current with timelines and contractual obligations that resulted in us walking away from that home with no financial loss. We were a little more hesitant with a second home to offer on, and we asked to look at several more properties which Megan accommodated without question and always spoke to us as people and not a transaction. A lot of the viewings were with me being remote, but we narrowed down our selection to 5 and Megan made scheduled viewings back-to-back for all 5 on a day I was in town so we were able to view as a couple. We did select a second home and Megan negotiated add-ons from the builder, which were great perks for us! Megan suggested a company for financing, and we were overly satisfied with that suggestion as they made the process seamless, allowing us to close in 25 days. Megan was key and was constantly following up and communicating with us on next steps. Joe and I told each other when we moved into the house that we couldn't believe how lucky we were to have found Megan on our first random open house that we were just checking out. Thank you Megan!
