Maureen Moran is the type of person you've known and adored your whole life after a 20 minute conversation. After our first call to search for homes on the N. Shore of LI, we felt understood and taken care of - without a hint of frills or sass that we expected from a realtor (we had no experience, but braced for the worst). After our call, she met us in less than 24 hours to tour the neighborhoods we wanted, clearing out those we didn't. Maureen is observant, supportive and insightful - she will give you the advice you want to hear (or not!) but, most of all, she's smart as a whip. She's a vet in the business and a former appraiser. She knows homes and can read the bones, the build and spot the red flags you want to have in your back pocket before (and during) an inspection. She'll tell you the truth, and she'll guide you through every detail of the process with the artful balance of being helpful without being intrusive. When we were ready to place an offer, she helped us do so strategically, but also taught us the protocol, etiquette, and touches of commitment that ultimately made it amicable on all sides. And throughout the time in between, always checked in to see how we were doing. Within 3 months we moved into the home we wanted all thanks to her. The house hunting process can be a beast, but with Maureen Moran, you're in great company - we literally wanted to hang out with her outside of the house purchase. She is truly a lovely, kind and generous woman - the kind of person that fits right in as family - who knows her stuff. When it comes to one of the most intense financial exercises one can make, no one else would do. We feel sincerely lucky to have found a home for our family and, now, to have an incredible lady like Maureen in our life as well.

My husband and I met Maureen while looking for our first house nearly a decade ago, and she has been a close and trusted resource for all our real estate adventures since.
