Maureen has many Canadian second-homeowners. As a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), she is trained in international transactions when buying and selling a home in the U.S. Maureen was born in Bangor, Maine where her father was stationed in the Air Force. She was raised in Tampa, FL and graduated from the University of Tampa with a degree in Business Management and Accounting. She began her career as Auditor for the Florida Public Service Commission and later an Accountant for Florida Power Corporation (now Duke Energy). Maureen transferred to Highlands County in 1988 as the District Representative for Florida Power Corporation until she transitioned into real estate in 1995. Maureen believes in paying it forward and giving back to her community. She is an active volunteer in her community, with her church and support many local charities and causes. Maureen lives on Lake Jackson in Sebring with her family and sweet "Molly Dog." When not selling real estate, she loves spending time with her family and friends. Maureen is an avid traveler and aspires to explore new places, find adventure and experience the world.
