Born and raised in Lake Highlands, Matt has been a part of the local Dallas community for 49 years. Matt attended White Rock Elementary and LH High School, followed by a degree from Texas State University. Currently, Matt lives in East Dallas, just a few blocks from where he grew up.
In his personal life, Whenever he's not working, Matt spends time with his wife Amy and their busy three children, ages 22, 20, and 16. Matt's hobbies also include hiking, fly fishing, camping, playing drums, and videography.
