Matt has been in the realtor business for a long time and he grew up in the South suburbs of Minneapolis-St. Paul. He is very knowledgeable with the area and with the house-buying process. As a first-time home-buyer, I relied heavily on Matt's expertise and he did not disappoint. I highly recommend him to anyone!
Matt goes above and beyond what my fiance and I expected in a real estate agent. He was extremely quick to respond to our questions and when we switched from one wish to the next, he adapted flawlessly. During our building process Matt continually provided input on how to get everything we wanted out of our home at a good price to produce a quality product. He even helped us navigate paperwork needed for securing our loan and obtaining our closing on a timely basis despite my extremely restrictive work schedule. Couldn't recommend anyone more highly. Matt was kind, patient, he listened, he made sure I found a home in a safe area. He was willing to just let me look and I never once felt pressured from him about buying my first home. He allowed me to look and ask questions and to find a home that was in my price range, commute range, and had the amenities I had wanted. I also liked that Matt was easy to reach out to and now even after my home purchase is finalized he is still available for me to reach out to. He also got me a good banker, insurance agent and inspector so I didn't have to do anything except get paperwork which was such a relief and a destressor in the home buying process. He is a realtor I'd recommend for anyone who wants a good down to earth person to deal with who isn't just trying to get you to buy a home. Matt is a great guy and he is really experienced in his field of work!!:)
Matt has great knowledge of the area we lived in and an excellent feel for how to price our home which ultimately sold in four days. He was very pleasant to work with and made all of the transactions completely painless. We moved out before putting our house on the market, and he capably took care of everything that was needed to get to the finish line -- picking up and installing a couple of replacement windows himself at no extra cost, and arranging contractors to take care of the few things that came up in the inspection report. he handled the inevitable negotiations (offers and counter-offers) expertly -- serving us very well in that regard. An honest and down to earth guy who I enjoyed working with!
Matt came in after we had been trying to sell our property for a couple of months and understood our needs; we needed to sell quickly to get a new build going, and our need for adequate equity to start a new build. He came with a business plan that was extensive and also made sense. He recommended all the classic things that we were told would help sell our house (previous agent did not do this). We got offers on our second week and he negotiated a selling price that would meet our equity needs. We are very happy with his performance!
Matt was great to work with. We had previously worked with him to help us buy our home 6 years ago and then enlisted him recently to help us with the sale of our townhome, which originally had been our primary residence but we had been renting out for the past 6 years. He gave us great advice on what we needed to do to prepare the home for sale and when it came time to list the property and put it on the market, we got a full price offer within a few hours of listing.
