About Matthew

30A Premier Agent Matt was born into the military lifestyle. Living in 18 cities in every corner of the United States (including 9 coastal locations) sparked his passion for meeting new people and seeing new places. After earning his Bachelors Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Tulane University in 2007, Matt chose to forego medical school and followed his father's footsteps into the United States Marine Corps. Once his military career ended, he fell in love with the pristine white sands of the Emerald Coast; ultimately trading in his boots for flip-flops and making the beach his home. Joining the Counts Real Estate Group on 30A in 2022 has allowed him to share his unique perspective as well as his adoration for the 30A and surrounding areas by assisting real estate buyers, sellers, and investors. When he's not busy finding his clients their dream beach home, Matt can be found running his personal training business, working out, surfing, boating, and soaking up the sun on one of America's most beautiful beaches.
