I have worked with Matt Claxton twice now, once as a buyer and once as a seller. I chose to work with Matt because I was impressed with his knowledge of the market and the marketing strategies he presented during our initial meeting, and we seemed to have similar personalities and work ethics. Both of my transactions with Matt as my realtor were great experiences and I would highly recommend anyone in Charlotte looking to buy or sell a home call Matt first! For the sale of my condo, I had already moved across the country, but Matt was able to coordinate with the tenant in place, myself, and potential buyers to prepare the unit to be listed, arrange showings, and eventually negotiate a move-out date between the tenant and buyer. Matt was extremely accessible and very helpful throughout the process, always available to answer questions or provide feedback and insight. For the purchase of my current home, Matt and Jordan (his buyer’s agent specialist) made themselves IMMEDIATELY available to schedule a showing of a newly listed home and promptly wrote an offer to submit directly after the showing. Matt provided great advice during my multiple offer situation that resulted in my offer being selected by the seller, and kept in contact with both myself and the seller’s agent throughout the process to make sure everything stayed on track. Buying a house is a stressful process, especially with how hot the market currently is, but Matt remained patient with me and was very helpful throughout the process.

Matt helped my wife and me find the perfect home, and he also sold the home we were in at the time. He was patient and helpful throughout our search. We also feel he did a great job of marketing the home we sold. I used Matt because as a mortgage loan officer at South State Bank, I have helped many of his clients.
