Mary is one of a kind remaining in her field. The honesty, integrity and work ethic is like no other. I have dealt with many realtors in the past before crossing paths with Mary. She is without a doubt the one that stood above the rest in my experience as a developer. Since meeting Mary my family and I have done over 15 houses and never have we had a hiccup with a sale or purchase. She has even made bids on houses without me even seeing it, to give an idea of the level of trust I have in her. Mary Warshefski was the agent for selling my mother’s house in Skillman, NJ, and she did a great job! She excelled in several ways, but I wanted to specifically point out two. First, she was a master at negotiation and handing offers. My mother’s house is 58 years old and not updated. It didn’t command top pricing. However, with Mary’s expertise, we got in the end the near full asking price of $329K. I hate saying “near full asking” because the plan was always to list it at $329K but decided at the last minute to increase it by $10K (so you could also say we got full asking price). After we dropped it back down $329K, three offers came in. One was for as little as $269K. Another $293K. The highest was $313K. Mary was able to leverage one offer against the others and move the price up. After a “best and final” round we settled at $329K! I had seen this leveraging tactic on various TV real estate reality shows, but Mary was great in doing it real time for us. Secondly, another area Mary excels in is communication. I formerly was a Director of Administration Services for a 500 person A/E firm, so I know good communication when I see it (and unfortunately, in today’s world, I don’t see it that often). She was extremely prompt in answering texts and emails at any time and any day (even at 11p on Sunday evening). She kept me up-to-date on everything. She also had good resources to give when I needed a vendor to fix a major pipe leak and do a minor renovation in a Master Bathroom, also install radon remediation, and lastly a water treatment system. I can’t say enough good things about Mary’s excellent communication skills.

My family has purchased a few houses through Mary. Our experience has been wonderful. She is knowledgeable, familiar with local area and best of all always has a good advice. What I really like about Mary is - she is honest and won't push you into a deal just to make money. We look forward to many years of continued business with her.
