First Time Home Buyers, Military & Sight UnseenIt is going to be hard, but I am going to do my best to put into words Miss Mary McCooley. I cannot express more how deeply Mary cares for you and your family through the home buying process. She really feels like a part of our family now. We are first time home buyers and military. She expertly explained everything in the process and was willing to work with us immediately. Being military we only had ONE opportunity to visit the area and tour homes with her; Fourth of July weekend. Miss Mary spent the ENTIRE holiday weekend (3 days) showing our family different homes and neighborhoods. All the while adapting and adding more homes to our list that she discovered while taking all of our ideas and interests into consideration. Ultimately, we were unable to get an offer in on any of the homes that we saw. But Miss Mary then volunteered to FaceTime with us to show us more homes virtually. Ideally this is not always the best option, but she showed us the homes with no rose glasses. Gave us all the details that she noticed. Once our offer was accepted Miss Mary did everything in her power to assist us on getting all repairs and inspections completed and handled every single detail between us and the sellers. It was determined we wouldn’t be able to physically move into the home for several weeks after closing due to the military. When Miss Mary heard, she took it upon herself to ensure the home was cared for by not only herself but her own family in order to maintain the lawn care, the pool, mail and the AC system! All while we were several states away for several weeks. She maintained constant contact all the while, texts, phone calls and FaceTimed. And she even sent a birthday card for our littles! Miss Mary really welcomed us to the area and showed us true hospitality. She really made the process of buying our first time a breeze. And she will forever be a part of our family.
