AVOID!! I contacted Mary Kay Barnes for a rental listing that she had posted. Not only is her responsiveness mediocre at best, but also her knowledge regarding real estate and rentals was lacking. Simple questions regarding where she needed credit reports from and clubhouse restrictions were answered with “I don’t knows” (which caught me off guard considering she said she managed the property for multiple years). Regardless of her poor service, I liked the property and wanted to proceed. She wouldn’t take 5 minutes to take a phone call for me or schedule a second showing so I can take measurements for my furniture. EVEN THEN, I wanted to submit my application for approval to which she told me that the landlord isn’t renting any longer and that I shouldn’t bother. It sounded fishy but I decided to look elsewhere. A few days later, I see the ad is still up, had a friend contact her and she said it was available. Misinformed, lazy, and dishonest is how I’d describe her as an agent. 0 stars if I could.
