Mary Kammerer deserves a five star review across the board because she exceeded any expectations I had for a realtor In my, what felt like impossible, situation. The house Mary listed for me was my fathers. He was a month away from not being able to afford the mortgage, and with health issues over the last decade preventing him from maintaining the ins and outs of the property, a fast sale at a decent price didn’t seem realistic. I will start by saying I didn’t have a high figure in mind in terms of profit. From our first meeting with Mary she came to us with a different perspective on our house that we hadn't seen in years. She brought research on other local listings within the neighborhood, along with listings of other houses past and present that were similar. That alone started to give us hope. During her initial walk through she pointed out the originality and beauty in the wood work. The potential of the house and she opened our minds up to possibilities We never considered. Not only did she advise me to list the house for a significant amount more then I originally planned, but within days she came to me with an offer thousands above asking price. To add, her work didn’t stop there, she was patient and understanding of my dads situation and worked with him every step of the entire process. When she realized we were struggling to get the house empty in time for closing she called an amazing dump removal company who with great sensitivity helped us clean out the entire house, Shed, and backyard. When crunch time arrived, the days I wasn’t able to be at my dads to help organize and pack up, she was. This woman has honestly helped me through one of the most stressful times of my life, and I can’t imagine what it would have been like if we weren’t blessed with a realtor who was so empathetic, ambitious, and caring.

A retired couple without a network of friends and family, we had to sell our home in Narragansett in order to reunite with our family on the West Coast. I started with the agents. It looked like they were more numerous in RI than homes for sale. Yet Mary’s reviews on Zillow stood out. “Cheerful personality. Conscientious and hard working. Absolutely wonderful. Truly listens to you,” etc. That heavenly combination of tributes decided our choice of agent. All that turned out to be absolutely true. After Mary had thoroughly prepared our home for sale and set a carefully chosen but higher than initially intended price, the very first day, after 4 hours on the market, an enthusiastic buyer called her. Inspection, packing, moving, cleaning out, and other hands-on tasks still seemed to us intimidating or insurmountable, as if the East and West Coasts were in different universes (they probably are), but this is how I summarize Mary’s performance: she was our guardian angel, always with us, always supportive, reliable, punctual, attentive, caring, resourceful, and professional, solving our big and small problems, until the very end.
