Mary Ellen exceeded our expectations when we were house hunting. She brought to our attention things that we would have never noticed.. and it was a good thing too! Mary Ellen Mackey is the most amazing realtor out there!!! She was absolutely wonderful to work with!!! We started working with her last year before we got married but my husband decided he wanted to wait until after we got married. She was so supportive and told us not to worry about it and let her know when we want to start looking again. The second week of March, we were ready to start looking for our first home. Right away she told us the steps we needed to take to get everything ready. As we were getting all that together, Mary Ellen was getting a couple different listing ready. My husband works 12 hr days 7 days a week so we knew it would be hard for us to get him to look at any houses. So my dad went with me and after going through a few houses I knew I found the perfect home for my husband and I and our future family. Problem was that we would have to get my husband to go look at. But she made it so easy and made it happen early the next morning. That night we made an offer and then the waiting game began. I was so worried that we were not going to get it but she was so positive and kept tell me to not worry! Then we found out that our offer was expected!! Her effort didn't stop there. Our loan we qualified for was a FHA Loan which can be kinda picky. So we needed to grab some stuff from Menards for the house she offered to meet us there and help us get everything! Who can honestly say their realtor did that!? We can!!!!!!!! Two weeks ago we signed papers for your first home and we couldn't be more excited!! We are so greatful for all of Mary Ellen's hard work and dedication to finding us our perfect home!
